Use NFE to replace PtiKeymappings_612_XX.dll & ecom-2-0.spi (use search function) from original FW (for right phone code) to my port !

As new Core V42 and new version of C6 from Nokia were released!
This version was so old I seem don`t have time to update it
You can use "empty ROFS2 method" *C6 RM-624 can use ROFS2 from C6 RM-612*
Extract all file from Original FW (Core,ROFS2,ROFS3) and put to this ROFS2 here (must empty first) !
Put any Mods you like and repack
FLASH with new CORE and correct name for ROFS2

BATTERY LIFE is very poor. Only 3 hours.
Format memmory card & Do a hard reset !

ReplyDeletedear Binh24, I am facing problems with the notification lights. The Breathing light works fine. However, the green & red button lights are not working. Either they glow continuously and I have to restart the phone to turn them off. After restart, they don't glow at all. I have done a hard reset also. But no results.
ReplyDelete2nd thing is, I cant kill the Open applications using the back key of sliding keyboard. The same key works fine in messaging.

ReplyDeleteYou should download nokia firmware cleaner to remove unwanted apps. First you extract your rofs2 file using NFEstd and then open the location of rofs2 extracted file i.e. If you are using NFEstd then go inside NFEstd folder, enter the folder with the name of firmware. Then, tick the apps you want to REMOVE.then press the add button at the bottom of fw cleaner and then press delete button. That's it! Your non-required prog are deleted.then repack your rofs2 and flash it Hope you could understand my guide.

ReplyDeletemyntbod, my secondary camera is working fine. If you are on c6v40 then use doctorly's core and rofs2 from the link in my previous post. If you use c6v41, then use binh24 c6v41 core with rofs2 from the link in my last post. I confirm that there will be no bugs if you use the combinations I suggested above.
ReplyDeleteusingv40..try already.. no rotation on screen even slide keypad.. sometimes touch screen not func..camera still blank.. binh24 super fast, auto rotate, only bug on maps xtra icon (mapslash) & old browser... need to retry again.. :(

For you I suggest the following
Method
1. flash with original firmware to your phone. 2.use xplore and delete private, resource, system, sys from mmc.
3.flash doctorly's c6v40 core(binh24 c6v40 core has bugs) and rofs2 from http://forum.dailymobile.se/index.php?topic=51386.0
Everything should work fine.
If still issue persist, then use folowing rofs2 with original c6 v40 firmware. Just replace original rofs2 and uda with
Symbian anna pr2.2 c6v40 rofs2 and uda:

It's a beautiful cfw for c6v40. I use this with my performance mods.

The only bug cannot integrate latest browser, bug icon mapsslazer.app & to remove welcome. (already try but phone wont boot).After flash its not pop up country & date setting.. its direct to GMT 0.. London.. 16/3/2011..7pm (what should i do about it)
