Nokia 5230 v51.0.002,Nokia 5233 v51.1.002,523x New Core Released

Nokia 5230 firmware updated to version 51.0.002/51.6.002.Its previous software version was 50.6.001.

The update is currently only downloadable via FOTA function by typing the code *#0000# on the keypad and then choosing the "Check for Updates" from the Options menu.

 *It may take some time before the new firmware is available for your region.
*The official full changelog will be added soon, Meanwhile if you notice some thing new  after updating yourdevice, tell us in your comments!

*You can update your  firmware over OTA (Over-The-Air)  or by using Windows PC applications  Nokia’s Software Updater or Nokia Suite. The  does have UDP (User Data Preservation) , but its always good idea to backup all of your personal data before updating the device firmware. The update is about 8128 kB in size via OTA.With New Nokia Web Browser v7.3.1.33 . Battery improved.

*DO NOT downgrade to old core it will kill your phone !
*This Core support old ports and CFW - just rename old ROFS2 according to new Core (read texts inside package)

    Use new cores above and flash with old CFW ROFS2 (Need rename according to new Core )

    Does not matter !
    Your phones will be updated to new CORE if you flash with new CORE ! Those are some texts on ROFS2/Resource/Version/...

  16. How to revert back to OFW? I've got this core + C6 v41 ROFS2, but C6 port "eats" the battery too fast. If I flash OFW from Navifirm with JAF, phone bricks. Will OFW ROFS2 work with your ported core?

  20. @legoth.amui if you have any doubt with what firmware your phone is please remove ur battery such that you could find it on the inside case of ur phone

  23. @anu oh is that anu ! this situation even happened for me, i was asked to download .net i did it. Then it worked out.
    It may be since nokia has disabled access to those firmware by unauthorized person than nokia care centres may be that's the reason
    so search for ur firmware with yur RM-(code) on mediafire.

  26. I open Original core file in "NFE Core 2" Editor.
    Then unpack it & Open "rofs" Directory.Then Delete all files Expect "DevIcon.fil","DevLogo.fil"&"feeds_view_template.html"
    Then Re-calibrate all to "2c"
    Then Repack.
    Is this the right method to repartition Core file?

  30. hey. Guys pls help. I've never flashed my nokia 5233 rm-625 v 51.1.002.
    I've to install a cfw in my mobile, it says that it is based on c6 v41. So, does that mean that first i'll have to flash with ur c6v41 rofs2, and then with that cfw.

    I am using 5230 phone latest i was changed my fw to custom means during port of my fw i was ported to rm-594, But my phone was before of RM-588,
    I am now interested to get back to my fw i.e.., RM-588

  45. Hi! I'm trying to use your core with a rofs2 from a CFW but after flashing my nokia 5230, the screen shows some "stripes" and then the phone turns off. I'm using RM-588 v51.6 and the rofs 2 is from RM-594 v51.2 . Can you help me please?

  55. while flashing with Blaze (ofw based), at last stage error : flash files are missing or corrupt, i checked all process.
    Should bin24 core (c6/n97 ported) can be used in blaze like ofw based ??
